OSRAM QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency Instant Start 32W T8 Electronic Ballast features a normal ballast factor of 0.88 and a universal input voltage range of 120-277V. It operates 3 or 4 SYLVANIA 32W T8 Fluorescent lamps using parallel circuitry, which ensures the remaining lamps stay lit if one or more go out.

The ballast is compatible with a variety of SYLVANIA T8 fluorescent lamps, including F032/XP, F030/SS, F028/SS, F025/SS, FB032, FB031, FB024, F017, FB016, FB030/SS, and FB029/SS. It also operates SYLVANIA F040T8 lamps, but only up to 3 lamps.

The input voltage range is +/-10% of 120-277V (108-305V), with an input frequency of 50/60Hz. The ballast is UL Listed Class P, Type 1 Outdoor rated, and CSA certified. It is also ROHS compliant, with lead-free solder and manufacturing.

The QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency system offers over 90% efficiency and over 100 LPW (lumens/watt) when used with SYLVANIA OCTRON SUPERSAVER T8 lamps, providing 30-50% energy savings. The ballast features low THD (total harmonic distortion) at 98%, and it is compatible with emergency ballasts.

The starting temperature range varies, with -20°F/-29°C for OCTRON T8 lamps, 60°F/16°C for SUPERSAVER T8s, and 0°F/-18°C for F040T8 lamps. The maximum case temperature is 70°C.
